Royal icing
Perfect shiny royal icing

  1. 3 cups icing sugar
  2. 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  3. 2 egg whites
  1. Put all above ingredients in a mixer and beat over low speed until everything is combined.
  2. Then turn the mixer to high speed and whip the mixture until it becomes thick, white and glossy. Scrap out the icing mixture in to a bowl and cover with cling wrap.
  3. Thin out as desired.
  1. Refrigerate covered for up to 2 weeks.
